Wafer Sleuth

First conceived over 20 years ago, wafer-level tracking had to overcome technical and organizational barriers before becoming reality. Sleuthworks’ founders, Gary Scher and James Sorensen, developed the technique at Hewlett-Packard during the 1980s and incorporated the company, Sleuthworks, in 1992. Since then, over 700 million wafer IDs have been recorded and analyzed by their product, Wafer Sleuth, providing a rapid and long-lasting return on investment through yield improvement at semiconductor fabs worldwide.
